A wedding day is an incredibly significant event in the lives of the couple, and as a wedding videographer, I've had the privilege of capturing these beautiful moments in time. It's a role that requires careful planning, creativity, and a keen eye for detail. In this article, I'll share my personal insights and experiences on how to create stunning wedding videos.
Being a wedding videographer is not just a profession; it's a passion. My journey in this field has allowed me to capture and create lasting memories for countless couples. With dedication and adherence to these tips, I've been able to craft wedding videos that are cherished for generations. Every wedding video I create is a piece of art that helps couples relive one of the most beautiful days of their lives, and that, to me, is the ultimate reward.

Having a wedding filmed can be a wonderful way to capture and preserve the memories of your special day. Here are a few reasons why people choose to have their weddings filmed:
It was a real privilege to film Sophie & David's wedding in early March. l had an initial wedding meeting with Sophie and David a month or so before their special day. I love meeting couples before the day. Meeting Sophie, David and their lovely children was great. It really helps couples feel more comfortable on the day. I hope it helped you all feel more comfortable.
I had actually met Sophie and David at a previous wedding, where I had filmed David's best man's wedding. Having filmed many weddings at Notley Tythe Barn, it was great to be back there, working alongside a top wedding photographer and friend, Marcus Charter, of Marcus Charter Photography. David and his Best Man arrived in a Mustang, that he had for the week. David, freshly groomed, greeted guests & made them all welcome. The ceremony was definitely the highlight for me. A beautiful ceremony, full of emotion, tears of joy and smiles. I absolutely love it when couples write their own heartfelt vows, promises to each other. There wasn't a dry eye in the barn. Congratulations to you both, I hope you enjoy watching your films. Please check out their trailer below. Last Friday, I had the privilege of filming a lovely wedding video at Pendley Manor. Amy arrived at the magnificent venue excited and nervous while Jamie was greeting guests in the bar. As she walked down the aisle with her dad, you could see she had been waiting for this day. The smile on her face made everyone smile. It was a lovely ceremony with a good friend sharing some words during the reading. The drinks reception was filled with fun and laughs, confetti falling and group shots. The photographers and myself had some lovely time with the couple to take romantic shots. As soon as they locked eyes, you could see they meant every word of their vows. The wedding breakfast room had been beautifully thought through and looked stunning. It made for an amazing setting for the wedding breakfast, cutting the cake and evening celebrations. It's always nice filming at a wedding venue a few times, as I know where the best locations are and where the light works the best to capture the moments. Pendley Manor is a venue I love to film at. It was amazing to work with 2 great photographers on the day, Nick Labrum and Ben Anderson. Two guys who work so well together, really care about the couple and have a visible passion about capturing the couples day. It was a pleasure to film with you two Gents.
You know when you work well with someone when you can all jump into the photobooth, at the end of the day, and take some photos. It was a real laugh. The snow was still on the ground and we had the best weather, not a cloud in the sky. The ceremony was at St Laurence's Church, Warborough. I arrived in good time to film guests arriving and shots of the church in the snow. The lighting was perfect for a February day. As usual, I shot on 2 cameras during the ceremony. It was a lovely ceremony, with special moments, where both mums did readings. After the ceremony there was time for some couples shots and the confetti shot. This is always a great time to shoot in Slow Motion on my GH4 to capture every smile and moment. The wedding reception was at Notley Tythe Barn. One of my favourite venues in Oxfordshire. There was a lovely surprise for the guests, the opportunity to do some 'black powder shooting' with some serious guns. Check out the best man shooting an 'old school' Blunderbuss. With temperatures below freezing, the couple had their groom shots in front of Notley Tythe Barn, and took time to go with myself and their photoprapher, Marcus Charter to have some amazing couple shots taken. This is always my favourite part of the wedding. It was a pleasure to work with my good friend, Marcus Charter, of Marcus Charter Photography again. If you are looking for an amazing wedding photographer, look no further, Marcus is your man. He is a pleasure to work with and has a super eye for the perfect shot. On Saturday 26th January, I had the pleasure of filming at lovely wedding at Chicheley Hall.
Having not shot at Chicheley Hall before, I arrived early to survey the land and take establishing shots of the lovely venue. Guests started arriving and soon Vicky and her dad descended the stately staircase to meet her hubby to be, Stan. It was a privilege to film their special day. I particularly loved filming this ceremony as you could see the connection and spark between the couple. Great to work with Sam Hayward of Sam Hayward Photography, a great wedding photographer. 2019 has officially started! Yesterday was the first wedding of the year and it was a lovely one. Congratulations to Kelly and Brendan on your wedding. It was my second wedding filmed at St Mary's, Long Crendon. A beautiful ceremony that really captured the love between them. At the end of the ceremony, the couple were met by Oxfordshire Morris Dancers upon their exit of the church. Then it was off to the reception at the Spread Eagle Hotel in Thame, where we were welcomed by a mermaid serving drinks. Watching and capturing the Bride dancing with her dad was a real privilege. That is what it is all about... capturing those special memories It was great working Lauren Benny, a professional and charming photographer on the day.
